Even the world’s biggest country music stars are no match for reality television. The Country Music Association’s Music Festival, which featured artists like Reba McIntyre and Tim McGraw on ABC, couldn’t beat CBS’ Big Brother 12 or NBC’s America’s Got Talent in last night’s ratings game.
NBC led the night with 7.5 million viewers and a 4.7 rating/8 share in households. CBS brought in 6.6 million people and a 4.3/7 for second, and ABC took over third place with 6 million viewers and 3.7/6, while FOX (4.7 million, 2.9/5) and The CW (1.1 million, 0.8/1) trailed in 4th and 5th place respectively.
