Sunday night’s Emmy loss to The Daily Show for best variety, music or comedy series didn’t keep Conan O’Brien down.
By Tuesday, the talk show host had already moved on and tweeted that he wanted to announce the title of his new TBS show “but my lawyers tell me ‘The Return of Nanny McPhee’ is taken.”
On Wednesday, the big announcement finally came via a YouTube video in which he revealed that the show would simply be called Conan.
About the title Conan joked, “I wanted one word that captured my essence, and Oprah was already taken.”
