Ryan Seacrest confirmed yesterday that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are joining Randy Jackson at the judges table for American Idol’s tenth season.
The new lineup brings big changes to Idol which recently lost Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi, in addition to original judge Paula Abdul.
“I call ‘Idol’ season 10 ‘The Remix,’ baby!” said Jackson, the only remaining original judge.
During yesterday’s press conference, Tyler called AI the “perfect feathered nest.” “It’s being part of something much bigger than yourself,” he told Seacrest when asked why he decided to join the show. “I want to bring some rock to this roller coaster.”
