Christina Applegate and Maura Tierney, who are both cancer survivors, will be among the stars appearing on next month’s second Stand Up to Cancer TV special.
The one-hour fundraiser will include musical guests, Stevie Wonder with Natasha Bedingfield, Queen Latifah, Martina McBride, Aaron Neville and Dave Stewart.
The broadcast will also feature special reports from CNN’s Sanjay Gupta about groundbreaking developments and research in the fight against cancer.
The hosts will be anchors Katie Couric of the CBS Evening News, Diane Sawyer of ABC’s World News and Brian Williams of NBC Nightly News. Sally Field, Ray Liotta, Seth Rogen, Seth MacFarlane, Mandy Moore, Alyson Hannigan, Apolo Anton Ohno, David Boreanaz, Abigail Breslin, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Jim Parsons, Terrence Howard, Cindy Crawford, Minka Kelly, Laura Linney, Lance Armstrong, Fran Drescher, Elizabeth Edwards, Michael C. Hall, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Sharon Osbourne, Robin Roberts, Sofia Vergara, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Reese Witherspoon, and Ethan Zohn are also expected to be on hand.
