The fifth season of Supernatural on The CW began in mid-September and the Winchester Brothers continue their wild life. Twenty-six years ago, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. Subsequently, their father John, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, raised them to be soldiers. He taught them about the evil that lives in the dark corners and ultimately how to kill it.
