Hellcats
9 PM The CW
CW’s latest teen drama is about pre-law student Marti Perkins, who joins Memphis University’s competitive cheer squad for a scholarship. The cast is led by Aly Michalka (Marti) and Ashley Tisdale, who plays the perfect Savannah Monroe who will stop at nothing to succeed. The show is getting rave reviews for its heart (and cheers) and is likely to be another hit for The CW.
Psych
10 PM USA
Psych’s summer finale includes Bourne trilogy star Franka Potente, who plays a government agent seeking the help of Shawn and Gus after she is accused of a crime she says she didn’t commit. Next season, the series is planning to pay homage to Twin Peaks, now that’s something to look forward to.
