Even if this year’s “VMAs” didn’t involve any major conflicts like last year’s Kanye vs. Taylor Swift controversy, it did have it’s moments. Here’s a look at a few of the “2010 VMAs” highlights:
Cher made an appearance on the show to present Lady Gaga with an award, and she proved she could hold her own against the 20somethings in the room. She walked out on stage in her famous, skimpy outfit from the “Turn Back Time” video and proudly introduced herself as “The oldest chick with the biggest chair and the littlest costume.” Go Cher!
Taylor Swift finally got in a few digs at Kayne during her performance. She replayed the incident on a vintage television while singing, “You’re still an innocent, 32 and still growing up now, who you are is not what you did … every one of us is mixed up too.”
Florence + The Machine did an amazing performance of their song “Dog Days Are Over”, better known as the song in the “Eat, Pray, Love” trailer.
