The first casualty of the fall season was also one of the most hyped by critics. Fox announced yesterday that it was canceling “Lone Star,” a drama about a con man leading a double life.
Production has ended on the show after only 5 episodes were shot, 2 of which aired to poor ratings. The third season of “Lie to Me” will take its place on Monday nights.
“Lone Star” surely won’t be the only cancellation of the season, there are several other shows that are also on the chopping block.
ABC’s Wednesday night legal drama “The Whole Truth” pulled only 15% higher ratings than the premiere of “Lone Star.” ABC’s Thursday ensemble soap “My Generation” also debuted to low numbers.
