Now that Lone Star has been canceled, its just a matter of time before the networks start shedding more of their new falls shows.
Though none of the new shows have been smash hits, there are few that stand out as true ratings disappointments. Here’s a look at the most likely candidates to get the ax.
My Generation
ABC’s muckudrama hasn’t performed well in its first two weeks, bringing in only 5.2 million viewers. The network put a lot into promoting the show and touted it as the first TV series of the internet age. But even in a hot time slot (Thursdays at 8 p.m.) the show is struggling.
Outlaw
More than 10 million people watched the show’s pilot after the finale of NBC’s America’s Got Talent on Sept. 15 but less than half of those people followed the show to its permanent time slot on Fridays.
Running Wilde
This was one of the most highly anticipated comedies of the season, thanks to the involvement of several Arrested Development alum, but, like that show, it has failed to draw much of an audience. Its lead in Raising Hope is doing quite well, which bodes well for the show since Fox doesn’t have much in the way of half hour comedies to replace it with.
