The beginning of the end of Friday Night Lights is right around the corner.
The show’s final season premieres October 27, and though they’ve given few hints about how the series ends, DirecTV is giving fans a peek at season five in their new promo.
The show has already wrapped the entire 13 episodes of the last season, which, if the promo is any indication, will be hot, and maybe a little bit scary too.
In the ad, the Black Keys’ “When the Lights Go Out,” provides an appropriate soundtrack for the grim images of everyone looking like they are getting ready for a funeral- a football-themed funeral.
