Actress Barbara Billingsley, best known as June Cleaver, the iconic mom on Leave It To Beaver, passed away of polymyalgia on Saturday at the age of 94 in her Santa Monica home.
Billingsley starred in Leave It To Beaver from 1957 to 1963 and reprised the role of June Cleaver in an episode of The Love Boat, the 1980s series The New Leave it to Beaver, an episode of Hi Honey, I’m Home and on a 1995 episode of Roseanne.
Barbara also starred as a stewardess in Airplane! and was the voice of Nanny on Muppet Babies.
