Precious star Gabourey Sidibe was all smiles and as she performed on SNL, reminding everyone she is nothing like the character that made her famous. The young star was sassy on the show but she also had her fair share of flubs, messing up lines in just about every skit.
The episode, which also featured musical guest MGMT, delivered a 4.7/12 household rating/share in metered-market households. In the 25 markets with local people meters, Saturday Night Live averaged a 2.7/11 in adults 18-49 and was the night’s #1 telecast, including primetime. That’s about 10% less than last week’s episode hosted by Ryan Phillippe with musical guest Ke$ha, which was about 10% less than the Tina Fey hosted episode the prior week.
