James Gandolfini has two new projects in the works for HBO.
First he is joining Tim Robbins and Diane Lane in HBO Films’ “Cinema Verite.” The project is slated to go in to production this summer in Los Angeles.
It is written by David Seltzer and is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the groundbreaking documentary “An American Family.” The doc premiered on PBS in 1973, and is considered the forerunner to today’s reality TV shows like “The Real World”, “The Real Housewives” and other programs that document people’s lives.
