The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards officially have a new host, Chelsea Handler.
The “Chelsea Lately” host, author and comedienne made the announcement on her talkshow Wednesday night. “The MTV Video Music Awards will be on Sunday, Sept. 12 and everybody knows when you think of rap music and hip-hop, you think of ‘Chelsea Lately.’ And that’s why I’ll be hosting them,” Handler joked.
