Castle on ABC isn’t your normal crime drama. Sure it has murders, twists, and and good one-liners. But this show does it in a light-hearted manner. The show stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, a famous mystery writer, who is called in as a consultant to help solve murders based on his novels. Stana Katic plays Detective Kate Beckett, the cop that he shadows and helps. After their initial meeting, Castle decides to use her as the main character in her next book series. This leads to funny interactions where Castle constantly hints at using this and that, things that Nikki Heat would do. While he might not admit it, Beckett inspires him.
