Veteran reporter John King will be replacing Lou Dobbs on CNN. John Klein, CNN president, said Thursday that King will move into the 7 p.m. ET slot that’s been vacated by Lou Dobbs.
Dobbs shocked TV viewers by revealing that after nearly 30 years at CNN, he was leaving to pursue other interests. The immediate speculation was that the controversial anchor, who has taken a hard stand on immigration issues, would land at the Fox News Channel, which has thrived in prime-time with opinionated hosts.
