First, Oprah broke our hearts by announcing she was ending her show in 2011, now, she isn’t doing a “Favorite Things” episode either. How can you be so cruel, Lady O?
According The Huffington Post, the popular, annual episode has been canceled for 2009. Every year Oprah would share her new favorite things, which ranged from appliances to clothing. Most items were things no one but O could ever afford but it was always fun to watch anyway. The episode was an audience favorite too since each year the entire studio audience got to bring home all of Oprah’s favs. Who needs Santa when we have Oprah?
