If you watched yesterday’s Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade, you probably saw TV stars like Jimmy Fallon and Jane Krakowski but what you didn’t see was an ad for PETA.
NBC chose not to run a commercial from PETA that depicted a little girl saying grace on Thanksgiving Day. The ad doesn’t show anything graphic or offensive but but it does describe some of the darker aspects of factory farming, like the fact that turkeys are often abused, have little room to move and experience horrific deaths.
