E! Entertainment Television had its best ratings ever on Sunday with an episode of its reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Meanwhile, Oxygen, which will soon be under the some corporate parent as E!, has stated that audiences flocked to Tuesday’s fourth episode of the new season of Bad Girls Club in a record number.
Oxygen’s numbers highlight 1.1 million adults 18-49 and 1.68 million total viewers watch the show, easily giving the channel its most-watch telecast ever in both categories, according to Nielsen national data.
Bad Girls was up 18 percent in overall viewers and 8 percent in adults 18-34 week-to-week.
E! and Oxygen are not the only channels having a great holiday season. MTV’s Jersey Shore, which started flat, but, thanks to an amazing amount of controversy over the show’s content, is starting to see high numbers It seems the more critics the show has, the more people tune in to see what the media noise is about.
