As if Jon Gosselin’s year wasn’t bad enough,the reality TV star came home from spending Christmas with the kids to find his New York City apartment had been ransacked.
“Jon Gosselin called me this afternoon on the occasion when he entered his apartment in Manhattan and was horrified, disheartened and saddened to observe the devastation of his furniture, clothing and personal belongings, which were apparently slashed with a butcher knife by a very troubled and sick perpetrator,” his attorney, Mark Jay Heller, told E! News.
He also said the New York City Police Department investigated the vandalism, collected fingerprints and took a handwritten note that had been “affixed to Jon’s bedroom dresser by a butcher knife.”
Gosselin has claimed that the note was signed by his ex, Hailey Glassman, but she denies the claim. “FYI that apartment everyone calls Jon’s apartment was my apartment as well,” Glassman tweeted on Friday. “We split rent!
