Staying in this New Year’s Eve? Don’t feel like braving the throngs of champagne soaked partiers to ring in 2010?  There’s plenty of company on the couch with a variety of options to choose from as you and your family and/or friends hang out around the house on New Year’s Eve night. 

There’s the tried n’ true traditional fare, namely Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest.  Sure, it doesn’t have much in the way of “rock”, or even Dick Clark, for that matter since the former American Bandstand host had a stroke several years ago.  However, Ryan Seacrest will be presiding over the affair as he has since 2006, when he was made executive producer of the annual televised fete. Nevertheless, Dick Clark (who recently turned 80) will be there, as will Fergie serving as hostess on the show’s pretaped segments.  Among the musical guests scheduled to perform are: Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez,  Colbie Calait, The Black Eyed Peas, Robin Thicke, and Keri Hilson.  Additionally, Jennifer Lopez and Daughtry will be performing live in Times Square for the show. Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest airs at 10PM Eastern on December 31, 2010 and continues until 2AM. Continue Reading
