The much-publicized negotiations between MTV and the the cast of The Jersey Shore over their second season salaries have stepped up a notch.
Over the weekend, news broke on the internet that the Jersey Shore cast had turned down MTV’s first season two offer of $5,000 per episode plus a $10,000 signing bonus.
Reportedly, MTV returned by doubling their per episode offer to $10,000 per cast member. Apparently, the cast made it clear they were using a “Friends-style” bargaining approach where they would only negotiate as a group and not everyone was on board with MTV’s offer.
