TLC definitely is upping the ante with the new shows they are trying to introduce, and The Little Couple is definitely a show that screams TLC to me. 

The TLC show, “The Little Couple,” will premiere on May 26 at 10/9c. Here’s the show description:

“Bill Klein and Jen Arnold are just like your average newlyweds — except for the fact that they’re both under 4 feet tall! “The Little Couple” is a new series for TLC that follows the couple as they embark on their new life together. They’ll face not only the struggles of two little people in an average-sized world, but will also move to a new city, negotiate the purchase of a home, and weigh the risks of planning a family – all while navigating the ups and downs of any new marriage!”

Looks like TLC is trying to take advantage of the many people who will be looking for a new show to watch, as all the shows are wrapping up for the summer season. 

Bill and Jen sound like a wonderful couple to watch. They lead exciting and interesting careers and are very down to earth. On the TLC website, they give an interview. 

“It’s this fun teasing and their fun-loving spirits that make Bill and Jen so engaging. They’ve even captured Oprah’s attention and appeared on her show.

“We were treated very well,” Jen says of being on the show. “The production crew was very accommodating and so nice.”

“We took a picture with [Oprah] afterwards. We hope to put it on our wall.”

But the couple says they aren’t famous by any stretch of the imagination. They’ve received positive reactions from people on their special, but their day-to-day lives keep them grounded. And we’ll get to follow them even further on their journey as a married couple in a new TLC series this summer.

“It’ll be centered around the events in our lives,” Bill says. “Some mundane, like how we do laundry, and other things like going to Hawaii and seeing what trouble we can get into there.””
