Fox will air all thirteen planned episodes of the second season of the struggling sci-fi action drama Dollhouse thanks in part to a spike in DVR viewership.
Co-written and created by beloved fanboy icon Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly) Dollhouse has been struggling to pull in viewers since it’s debut last year which also experienced a jump in viewership. According to DVR data, viewership for the series experienced a 50% jump in audience while live-viewing continues to show weak numbers. Dollhouse saw a similar DVR spike last season but also showed better live numbers.
