In flight entertainment has never really seemed all that…entertaining. The last time I actually took a flight, the movie they played was “Wag The Dog.” Not really having anything else to do at the time..the movie helped me redefine boredom despite having something to watch for 2 and a half hours. Whether this will be an improvement or not is debatable, but it appears that NBC Universal will be showing some of it’s programming on American Airline flights. You can’t get away..you’re stuck on the plane. Sorry.

I don’t think many people pay much attention to in flight movies anyway, but usually I tend to bring my own entertainment. Whether that’s a book or your laptop (did you know Amtrak has plugs for your laptop? Best idea ever!) for as long as your battery will let you, most people tend to bring their own forms of stuff to do.

What about you guys? Think you’ll be tuning in-flight to catch some Knight Rider? After polling my local friends and family, the consensus is no..but your mileage (haha) may vary).
