ABC’s new show Modern Family premiered on September 23rd and airs on Wednesdays at 9/8 pm.  The half hour show features storylines that intertwine three different families–Jay Pritchett, played by Ed O’Neill (best known from Married with Children), is married to a much younger woman, Jay’s daughter Claire Dunphy, played by Julie Bowen, who is a traditional stay at home mom, and Jay’s gay son Mitchell Pritchett who has adopted an Asian baby with his boyfriend.  Modern Family is what the title describes, a typical modern day dysfunctional family.  Everyone has the awkward family functions, the macabre interactions, and normal fighting.  After Modern Family tested highly in focus groups, ABC quickly fast-tracked the show, picking it up for an entire season.

The official site to catch all the latest episodes of Modern Family (in HD) as well as other popular ABC shows.  ABC keeps as many episodes as they can posted online.  Also, unlike some channels, ABC almost always posts episodes the day after broadcast, which is great for water cooler talk.

Hulu.com

Popular online site is like an online DVR where you can subscribe to a number of shows.  Hulu has partnered with ABC to feature most of their shows.  Episodes expire usually around two months after airing.

Not only can you watch the latest few episodes but you can also find out exactly who the actors are.  The video player is linked to Hulu so viewing is high quality.

Sling.com

This site is like Hulu except a little younger.  If you have a Slingbox account, you can stream content from the Slingbox to your computer.  Sling also uses the Hulu player.
