Gossip Girl first aired in 2007 and after being disrupted by the writers strike, the 2nd season of the show was concluded in the spring of 2008. The show is finally going into its third season this fall (or so we hope), which means a lot of you are probably looking to catch up on episodes from the first and second of the show that you might have missed. 1. CWTV
The first place I always tell people to check when looking to watch episodes of shows online is the “official site”. In this case CWTV.com (which is the official site of The CW) has the previous four episodes of the show available to watch online. Although the selection isn’t the best, the episodes are free to watch with the exception of having to deal with the occasional commercial or two. If you are looking to catch up episodes from the first season this website probably won’t be of much help.

2. Sidereel
Although you can’t actually “Watch” episodes on Sidereel they have a great collection of links to working streaming episodes of Gossip Girl. Legal “implications” often cause episodes to be pulled from sites that don’t have permission to post the episodes. Sidereel constantly updates the links to episodes so if a link no longer works, it’s often replaced fairly quickly.

4. Yidio.com
Yidio is another site that has working links to streaming Gossip Girl episodes. Most episodes have 40+ links to different places that you can watch them online. What I like the most about Yidio is the fact that its organized, and your not completely bombarded with advertising like on most television related sites.

5. WatchGossipGirl.com
WatchGossipGirl.com has all 19 episodes of the second season of Gossip Girl available to watch online. The reason I really like this site is the lack of obtrusive advertising (for now at least). This is another great site to watch older episodes of the show online.

iTunes has every season of Gossip Girl available to watch instantly. The disadvantage to using iTunes is the fact that you do have to buy the episodes. If you are looking to buy Gossip Girl, iTunes is by far the most convenient way to do so.
