Dancing with the Stars on ABC  is a current reality show featuring former celebrities dancing with dance professionals.  For some odd reason, this has turned into a huge hit and often resurrected celebrity careers.  The show is currently hosted by Emmy Award-winning game show host and television personality, Tom Bergeron alongside Samantha Harris who took over the role as co-hostess in 2006.  The show debuted in a short run from June to July 2005, then returned the following January and February after enormous popularity and positive feedback.  The show’s ninth season premiered on September 21, 2009 at 8 pm.  Some of this season’s celebrities include Aaron Carter, Melissa Joan Hart, Macy Gray, Natalie Coughlin, and Tom Delay.

The show pairs up the celebs with a professional dancer and then are judged by a panel of judges as well as viewers at home.  One team is eliminated each week.  The dances change and so the the pairs must put in endless hours of practice to ultimately win the competition. Dancing with the Stars has such a broad appeal, offering viewers dazzling costumes, dancing, celebrity gossip, behind-the-scenes training and contemporary music performed by a live 15-piece band.  The format has already been an international hit in several countries.

Popular online site is like an online DVR.  Hulu has recently cut a deal with ABC, allowing them to stream their shows as well.  Like ABC, it posts episodes the next day and also has all of this season’s episodes.

This site is like Hulu except a little younger.  If you have a Slingbox account, you can stream content from the Slingbox to your computer.  Sling also uses the Hulu player.
