I am one of the unlucky ones who did not read the fine print and have lost a few hundred dollars to this scam artist company that is supposedly refundable, though I have not seen any back. Within 5 phone calls in one day, their operators contradicted each other several times and were "confused" when I caught them in lies.

Good reviews! I think I'll opt out of buying these tutorials. I'm always careful about buying the latest and greatest thing, since "water", on the internet or anywhere else for that matter. This sounds like a $10 item that can turn into hundreds of dollars. Thanks

I've really only got into the Photoshop lesson. And, I thought it was somewhat good. You may be right that you could learn this stuff either from a book or a tutorial. But, personally I prefer the hands-on approach of "what you see is what you do."

As for them not being horribly in depth. Well, I suppose I'm not really qualified to say. As I would have to know everything about a program, then see what the lesson teaches, and see what it missed/didn't include. I got the second disc on photoshop and the frontpage disc had a technical problem (it told me to do something I couldn't) and I wasn't able to proceed further.

But, I do remember one of his infomercials saying that he'll make you a guarantee that if don't learn something new he'll give you something (I don't remember what it was) I have a few big fat books that I've actually never read cover to cover (such as Windows XP bible, Dreamweaver Bible, and HTML, XHTML CSS Bible. Big fat books about 2 inches thick. It would be good to see how they compare to his programs.

Still, if I could have gotten those books in form of a step by step computer based training tutorial like video professor is I would. Again, it's just my preference.

As for him being full of himself. I'm not sure he even wrote that biography on his website. But, do you think someone deserves to brag or least some praise if they've been successful. I wouldn't care how much he brags as long as his lessons are good quality. Performance is what matters.

The discs after all are not of him stepping up receiving awards for his software. You don't have to deal with that if all you want is to use his lessons. :)

Do not under any circumstances order the so called special price CD. They end up charging you for additional CD"s that they included in your order and it's up to you to pay for the return shipping and cancelled any other automatic charges that they choose to bill you for. I wish I had read these reviews before I placed the order. Like they say "if it's too good to believe, it probably is". I had to call my credit card company to get the charges removed in full.
