Last week, Victoria Beckham acted as guest judge during American Idol’s stop over in Denver. Posh was quite excited about the gig, saying, “I just couldn’t believe it. I feel like I got the best job that there is. I’m still grinning from ear to ear. I’m going to try hard to pout and not shatter the illusion that I’m a moody cow, but I don’t know if I can – I’m just so happy.”

But apparently that excitement didn’t shine through since a source close to the show said came across as “icy and wooden” during her guest-judging stint. According to the source, Beckham was “trying too hard to be nice.”

Even though it doesn’t sound like the Denver stop went that well, Victoria got another chance yesterday in Boston. According to the Associated Press, Fox publicist Alex Gillespie said that Beckham was in Boston Thursday to help judge callbacks for contestants who had previously auditioned.

Originally, she was only scheduled for Denver but her rep said, “They asked her back because it went so well and she was so natural with the judges and the contestants.”
