I recently ran across a new service called MotionBox that allows you to upload and edit your videos through their website, and then share them with your friends or family. What I really like about this service is that unlike YouTube – your videos are not made public to the world, you choose who you want to be able to see them and view them.

Sharing your videos once uploaded and edited is easy, and you can even add them and embed them on your blog or website. Sorting through your videos with their online interface works pretty seamlessly and you can choose to organize videos by event, date or theme.

MotionBox offers a premium version that gives you unlimited storage, which means that you can upload and share as many videos as you want. MotionBox also has a service that allows you to order DVD’s of your videos once you are done editing them through the website.

Overall I think MotionBox has been executed very well and it seems like a very viable and well needed service. If you recently got back from vacation and are looking to share all of your videos with your friends and family MotionBox is the perfect for you.
