With NBC’s recent orders of four pilots next season’s pick-ups are well underway. Pilot screenings will continue through the end of this week but in the meantime, here’s the latest on which projects are most likely to be on the air next season:
CBS:
“Hawaii Five-O” remains the most likely drama to receive a series order from CBS.
Brett Ratner’s CIA drama “Chaos” and legal drama “Defenders” with Jim Belushi and Jerry O’Connell are considered to be in the lead too.
Among comedies, “Shit My Dad Says” seems to be a go with William Shatner in the lead.
Fox:
The U.S. Marshals drama “Breakout Kings, “Shawn Ryan’s cop drama “Ride Along” continue to be listed as top contenders over at Fox.
Among comedies, Greg Garcia’s comedy “Keep Hope Alive” is a frontrunner, with the Mitch Hurwiz/Will Arnett comedy “Wilde Kingdom” still in the running.
NBC:
The remake of “Rockford Files” and Jerry Bruckheimer’s latest “Chase,” remain near-locks.
NBC’s comedies, “This Little Piggy”and Paul Reiser’s semi-autobiographical “Next” are the top contenders for next fall.
ABC:
The superhero drama “No Ordinary Family” is considered a go, with Michael Chiklis delivering a strong performance and ABC looking at an 8 p.m. time slot for the show. Shonda Rhimes’ “Off the Map” and crime dramedy “Detroit 187″ also seem like sure bets.
The CW:
“La Femme Nikita” remake “Nikita” starring Maggie Q is a definite and the cheerleading show “Hellcats” is also well liked.
