The way NBC has been promoting The Sing Off, we can assume they were looking for a ratings juggernaut, instead the ratings for the show’s first night were only so-so and still didn’t beat out CBS. CBS drew 13.3 million viewers and an 8.1 rating/13 share in households in primetime, doubling the 6.6 million and 4.1rating/6 share for second-place FOX. NBC (6.2 million, 3.8/6) beat out ABC (5.1 million, 3.6/6) for third while The CW (1.5 million, 0.9/1) brought up the rear.
CBS also ruled the coveted adults 18-49 demographic with a 4.4. FOX took second in the demo with a 2.2, beating NBC’s 2.0. ABC averaged 1.2 and The CW 0.6. Here’s a look at the complete list of prime time ratings for Monday, Dec. 14.
