It’s true. While many people go on reality television shows and maybe experience a showmance, be it for kicks, for itches, or just for good television, it’s been known to happen. But the reality of a successful couple isn’t very likely! We’ve watched many couples hook up and break up. Some of those were just schemes, that were awfully deceiving (I’m thinking Dr. Will and the gorgeous Janelle on Big Brother All Stars) and some seemed so genuine (Eric and Jessica on Big Brother 8).

But this couple and the way they got together seemed like destiny. Or did it? Amber Brkich was a contestant on Survivor: The Australian Outback. Her beau, Rob Mariano was on the show the following year, on Survivor: Marquesas. When Survivor: All Stars was on, they were both contestants on the show. They later went on the compete together in The Amazing Race. Rob also had stints on the poker reality television circuit, trying to break his way on to the scene.

They welcomed baby girl, Lucia Rose on July 4th at a Florida hospital. The new little Mariano weighed 6 lbs., 11.5 oz. and measuring 19 1/4-in. long.
