Thursdays are the night of dread for so many viewers across the nation and surely for the contestants on So You Think You Can Dance. The fickle viewers must vote to get their favorites safe from elimination and unfortunately, you never know who is going to be safe and who you will be saying goodbye to.

Tonight’s musical guest for the show was the beautiful and talented Kelly Clarkson. It’s always a pleasure to watch her perform.

As the bottom three are announced for both the guys and the girls, of course there is that nervous anticipation. And so we have the bottom three:

Vitolio & Karla

Kayla & Kupono

Jeanine & Phillip

It’s time for the dancers to solo dance and try to convince the judges to keep them around.

For the ladies, we say goodbye to Karla. Nigel leaves us with some thoughts about Karla:

“without question a very very good dancer, but haven’t capture the start quality we thought you had at the beginning. ”

And finally, for the men… we say goodbye to Vitolio. I know that I, for one, will certainly miss his beautiful shirtless dancing… for the dancing, after all!
