Should NFL Sunday Ticket Be Available To Everyone?

There has been a lot of discussion recently about if NFL Sunday Ticket should be carried by all Cable and Satellite companies. As of right now NFL Sunday Ticket is carried exclusively by DirecTV. This really limits the amount of people who can receive Sunday ticket, given that the majority of cable and satellite subscribers in the US are with other carriers like Comcast Cable and Dish Network.
Personally I think that the NFL should expand Sunday Ticket, because of its increasing popularity over the last few years. I couldn’t even begin to imagine how much money DirecTV is going to have to pay the NFL to keep Sunday Ticket an exclusive item for the next 5 years. However when you look at what Sirius ended up paying to get Howard Stern for 5 years, I guess anything is possible.
I personally have Dish Network, and I’m a big fan of football so I would love to see NFL Sunday Ticket offered by Dish, in fact I would be one of the first to subscribe. However, at the same time I don’t want to get ahead of myself. This all may sound like wishful thinking but hey, stranger things have happened.
