Fox News Channel cut a segment about LL Cool J on Sarah Palin’s new show after the rapper/actor pointed out that the interview was more than 2 years old and had been “repurposed” for Palin’s program.
“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW,” the NCIS: Los Angeles star tweeted Tuesday night.
Palin’s Real American Stories, which airs Thursdays on Fox, focuses on “ordinary American who have led extraordinary lives.”
The promo shows that country music star Toby Keith and former General Electric Co. Chairman Jack Welch will be highlighted as well. Keith will discuss his hit song “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American),” and Welch will talk about his successful career in a segment titled “In Their Own Words.”
The show will focus on average Americans who are making a difference as well. The debut episode will include a profile of a fallen Marine and a stock broker who helps underprivileged students pay for college.
