“Desperate Housewives” returns this month with high hopes that the recent reboot of Wisteria Lane will lead to big ratings. If the latest additions to the block, ”Ugly Betty” villainess, Vanessa Williams and “Beverly Hills 90210″ hottie, Brian Austin Green, are any indication, it looks like they are moving in the right direction.

“She ends up hanging out on Wisteria Lane and stirring up some stuff,” explains Williams, who plays the new neighbor, Renee, adding, “My character comes to visit, because she’s got some problems in her marriage.”

“Life Unexpected’s” Reggie Austin will play Renee’s husband and it sounds like the couple certainly has their hands full.  Reportedly, a  love triangle between Renee, Marcia Cross’ character, Bree, and the new handyman played by Green may make complicate things even further for the pair.

“I get a little crazy one night and I start ripping the wallpaper off my walls,” says Cross of her storyline with Green. “You know, it’s not my doing, but the hot young thing works in my house. I think a little romance ensues. What are you to do?”
