HBO has managed to snag exclusive rights to broadcast the presidential inauguration opening ceremony. Now, before everyone that doesn’t have HBO out there throws a hissy fit, this isn’t to be confused with the actual Presidential Inauguration Ceremony that will be carried by all of the major networks two days later.

The Inauguration Opening Ceremony will be offered on multiple time-warner channels on cable and satellite (not just HBO). There is word that the ceremony may also be streamed live on the internet.

The ceremony will take place at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday, January 18th and will include both Barack Obama and Joe Biden. If you want to see all of the Inauguration activities but can’t make it down to D.C. your in luck.
