NBC didn’t waste any time removing all signs of Conan O’Brien from their home base, 30 Rockefeller Center. Conan has already been replaced by Jay on the giant mural at NBC’s corporate headquarters.

A before shot of the mural from October 2009 shows O’Brien’s head right along fellow late-nighters, Jimmy Fallon and Carson Daly. Fast forward to yesterday and Conan was suddenly replaced by Jay Leno. But, before you start hating on Jay, know he wasn’t left unscathed either. The mural once featured a giant picture of him in the foreground which has since been eliminated.

NBC hasn’t completely eliminated Conan’s presence though. It looks like the Peacock is looking to profit on the recent “I’m With Coco” phenomenon and is still prominently featuring The Tonight with Conan O’Brien merchandise on their website. The NBC online store still features everything from Conan O’Brien “string Dance” Tees to Tumblers and Mugs. If you want a piece of Conan memorabilia, better get it fast though. Like Conan’s face on the mural, it could be gone any day now.
