LG BD300 Blu-ray Player with Netflix

This is really, really cool. LG has just announced a new Blu-ray Player (the BD300) that is going to also allow you to rent and stream Netflix movies right into your living room. So what does this mean? Not only do you get the Blu-ray experience but you can browse the Netflix store on your TV, choose to rent a movie, and have it begin in less than 30 seconds.
The LG was shown off tonight for the first time at LG’s 2008 Summer Line Show at Morgan Library and Museum in New York City. Although I’m saving up for a Sony Home Entertainment Server which is going to set me back 3k, this looks pretty tempting. I currently have a PS3 to play Blu-ray movies but I need to get another player for the bedroom so this may be just the thing to get.
