TV stars Laura Prepon and Sarah Chalke may be returning to TV.

Prepon, who starred in the Fox hit That ’70s Show, is set to join Danny Wallace in the ABC comedy Awkward Situations for Men.

Awkward Situations for Men
is adapted from the book by the same name, in which Wallace tells the cultural shock that the British author had while moving around in the United States. A shift which will cause him many problems with the daily newspaper along with “hilarious” predicaments with his American neighbors.

After 8 seasons of That ’70s Show,  Prepon had also appeared in the drama series October Road along with a nomination for Best New Series at the Teen Choice Award in 2007. In 2009, Prepon also appeared in How I Met Your Mother as the snobbish Karen, the first love of Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor).

Scrubs star Sarah Chalke is returning to ABC with another comedy project.

Chalke has joined Freshmen, which centers on the friendship of three freshmen members of Congress (two men and a woman) who live together in D.C.

Chalke will play the woman, Jane, a beautiful, smart and funny freshman Congresswoman who was the VP at a multi-billion dollar company when she was just 28, and who won her district with the largest margin of any candidate since 1977. However, when it comes to men, Jane, as expected, is a disaster waiting to happen.

Greg Malins (How I Met Your Mother) wrote the script and is executive-producing with Arianna Huffington.

Chalke played Dr. Elliot Reid on Scrubs for eight years. She reprised the character in several episodes of the rebooted show this season.
