Earlier this week, Jon Gosselin took some time out of his busy schedule of drinking and womanizing to complain to Us Magazine about the filming schedule for his hit TLC reality show, Jon and Kate Plus Eight. He told the mag, “I wish I had a 9 to 5 job instead of the nightmare I’m living. This is 24/7. I don’t even want to do taping for the show anymore.” Keep in mind he was saying this outside of $1.1 million Pennsylvania home making it hard to feel sorry for him.

It’s been a tough week for Jon, he is stuck in PA with his kids while Kate is in NYC wheeling, dealing and fulfilling Jon’s dream of finding a day job for herself. On September 14th and 15th Kate will fill in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck on The View while she is out on maternity leave.

The couple put their problems aside today (sorta) to see their twin daughters, Mady and Cara, off to their first day of school. According to E!, they didn’t spend much time chit-chatting. “Jon and Kate did stand miles apart, drive in separate cars and there was no interaction between the two, according to an eyewitness who said I don’t think they spoke to each other. But, you know, whatever works. The bus came, Kate loaded the girls on, Jon waved goodbye and the soon-to-be official exes drove off in their cars.”
