Tila Tequila, the reality star and fiancee of the late Casey Johnson, heir to the Johnson and Johnson fortune, is preparing for her debut on Larry King Live Tuesday but not with the Johnson family’s blessing.

A source told E! that family members and friends of Casey Johnson have called King asking him to rethink the interview.

Tila, best known for her MTV reality show A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila insists her engagement to Casey was real and is prepared to defend their relationship in Larry King’s studio next week.

“The Johnsons just want Tila to go away,” a source said. “They’re in mourning. She is the last thing they want to deal with right now.”

Earlier this week, cops were called to Tila’s house when Casey’s longtime friends Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips showed up to collect the late heiress’s two dogs and other belongings, including clothes and medication.

“Everyone knows the tabloids won’t back away from Tila, but they didn’t think Larry King would actually consider having her on his show,” the source said. “They’ve called him and sent him emails asking him to cancel the interview.”

Another source claims Tequila is going to be the only guest for the one-hour show, which is planned to be a “tribute” to Casey: “It’s going to be all the good things and happy times of her life.”

Reps for King, Tequila and the Johnson family have not publicly commented on the issue.
