Miss America 2010 (8/7c TLC)
Mario Lopez is back as host for the 89th pageant being held at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Miss Puerto Rico rejoins the 50 United States representatives after an almost 50 year absence, along with Miss District of Columbia and Miss Virgin Islands. The judges panel includes Vivica A. Fox, Rush Limbaugh, American Idol alum Brooke White and Miss America 2002 Katie Harman.
Lying to Be Perfect (9/8c Lifetime)
Based on Sarah Strohmeyer’s novel, The Cinderella Pact, this Lifetime movie stars Poppy Montgomery as Nola Devlin, a frumpy magazine editor who happens to also be an anonymous online columnist, Belinda Apple. She develops a large following, giving out makeover tips. But, when her true identity is nearly exposed, Nola is forced to follow her own advice.
Saturday Night Live (11:29/10:29c NBC)
NBC kicks off a secession of new shows with host Jon Hamm, who is returning for a second round of hosting duties. The Mad Men star will be joined by musical guest Michael Bublé.
Meteor Storm (9/8c Syfy)
San Francisco is threatened by numerous meteor strikes as a city official tries to evacuate the residents, while another tries to saves the world, in this made-for-TV disaster flick.
