How to Get Free Music and Video Downloads from iTunes

These days, “free” is not a word we hear too often. “Free” has been replaced with “enter your credit card number.” Luckily, there are still a few places where we can bypass the credit card number and go straight to the product. Many people don’t realize this, but iTunes actually gives away music and video downloads on a weekly basis. The free iTunes downloads are easy to access, and they are something that everyone should check out.
Go to the iTunes Front Page
If you have iTunes installed on your computer, open it up. If you don’t have it, you will need to install it in order to access the free downloads. The installation is free, and you just have to go to the iTunes website to get it. After it downloads, proceed to the iTunes front page.
Go to the Free Download Section
On the front page, there is a section titled “Free On iTunes.” Click on that, and you will see all of the songs and videos that iTunes is offering for free that week. There is sure to be an up and coming hit song and some videos. Browse through them, and find something that you like. Also, because it is a free service, play some things you’ve never heard of so you can get a taste of what you have been missing.
Download and Play
As long as you are signed into iTunes, you can download and play the free music and videos. It is simple to do. Click on a song or video that you want to download, and it will begin to load. If you haven’t signed into iTunes yet, you will be prompted to do so before your download will begin to play.
