On last night’s Glee Will decided to make the glee club more competitive before sectionals by pitting the boys against the girls in a mash-up glee-off.
This added pressure wasn’t good for Finn who was already worn out from football, glee, school and impending fatherhood. He visits Terri (who became the school nurse on Sue’s suggestion) and asks to use her office to take a nap, instead she gives him decongestants (“vitamin D”) to help him stay alert.
Finn shared his new found “vitamins” with the rest of the boys just in time to perk them up for their mash-up of Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life” and Usher’s “Confessions.” Of course, the boys rocked the house, horrifying Rachel who was already having a problem motivating the girls. In a surprise move, she told Quinn that she would be her friend, despite the fact Quinn would never do that for her and got Quinn to recommit to glee.
The girls caught wind of the boys’ vitamin boost and took a few of their own. Their mash-up of “Halo” and the 80s hit “Walkin’ on Sunshine” was awesome, leaving the “celebrity” judge (Emma) with a tough decision to make.
In her typical scheming fashion, Terri told Ken to propose to Emma (after Sue planted the seed in her head that Emma was after Will). She then told Emma that she would never get Will and that she marry Ken or risk a life alone. Reluctantly, Emma does say yes to Ken.
Finn and Rachel agree to confess about their “advantage” and forfeit the contest. Will is furious when he finds out Terri gave the drugs to the kids. She ends up getting fired and he is ends up with a co-chair for the glee club- Sue.
