gleeRight from the get-go of this episode, Finn and Quinn are on the outs and getting a taste of what its like for everyone else who isn’t an “A-Lister”. The couple get a slushy facial from a some former friends and go to Emma for help. She makes a poor suggestion when she tells them to wear sunglasses during the day, it turns out to not be helpful at all.

Emma asks Will to do a mash-up of her wedding songs that just don’t quite go to together, just like her and her fiance, Ken. In the end, Will can’t create a mash-up of “The Thong Song” and “I Could Have Danced All Night” as she requested but it does give them a chance to dance together, with her in a wedding dress of course.

In the meantime, Coach Ken tells the football players they must choose between being a team player and glee club, after seeing Will and Emma dancing together of course. Finn decides not to leave football even though the other players do. He finally goes to Coach Ken and tell him how stressed he is. Ken realizes he is only punishing the boys and gave them the OK to return to glee club.

The shock of the night was Noah and Rachel hooking up. As he explains it, his mother has urged him to date a Jewish girl, so he immediately hones in on Rachel. After a few make out sessions, Rachel and Noah’s short-lived courtship had ended because they both faced the facts that they had feelings for Finn and Quinn respectively.

Quinn, meanwhile,  gets even more bad news when Sue Sylvester (who had her heart broken by her news anchor coworker) kicks the pregnant cheerleader off Cheerios. But at least she still has her glee club friends to rally around her!
