Dish Network Adds New HD Channels
By The GuruDish Network added 17 new HD Channels to their already impressive HD lineup on August 1st, fueling the HD war that they have been fighting for a year against DirecTV. In this update to their channel lineup 14 new “video on demand” channels were also added. Dish Network set a goal of having 100 HD Channels by the years end, but it appears that they have surpassed this goal already – 5 months ahead of schedule. In the most recent update to their lineup, Dish added a lot of premium HD channels such as HBO HD and Starz HD. I have included a full list of the new HD channels below.
