DirecTV has just picked up three cancelled series including two that starred Tim Daly, Eyes and The Nine. Eyes, which originally aired in 2005 on ABC, starred Daly as Harlan Judd owner of Judd Risk Management, a group that investigates crimes in which law enforcement has fallen short. The Nine, which also aired on ABC in 2006, was about nine people held hostage in a bank robbery together, the secrets they held before the robbery and the relationships they developed afterward. DirecTV is also picking up the 2006 CBS series, Smith, which starred Ray Liotta as a professional thief and Virginia Madsen as his wife.

All three shows were canceled with episodes still in the can meaning DirecTV customers will be able to catch the last 7 never aired Eyes episodes, the last 4 episodes of The Nine that never aired and four never before seen episodes of Smith.

This is not the first time DirecTV has rerun episodes of a canceled series. Recently, they ran all  of the completed episodes of the short-lived, but critically acclaimed drama, Wonderland.

Smith will air first, starting Wednesday, April 8 at 10 p.m. The Nine will air in the same slot starting May 27 and Eyes will air as a lead-in to The Nineon Wednesdays at 9 p.m. beginning in July. All three shows were produced by Warner Bros. TV and will air in high definition, without commercial interruptions on the 101.
